Marc R Linn

Marc was born to Michael Steven Linn and Mary E. (Smith) Linn Munson on December 31st, 1984 in North Platte, NE. Marc’s first years of life were in North Platte, NE and St. Louis, MO.

Marc and our family moved to Stapleton, NE in 1990. He attended school at Stapleton Public School until 11th grade. Moving to North Platte to attend North Platte Senior High. School could not contain him. He left and attained his GED.

Marc then married Krista (Aksamit) Linn Giesek. To this union was born Logan Michael (16) and Sidney Taylor Linn (14). After a divorce, Marc met his life long partner Andrea (Andi) Kotrous of Lincoln, NE. To this union was born Grace Noel (7) and Whitley Ryan Linn (2).

Growing up in Stapleton, Marc was able to run free and enjoy childhood. In his teen years, Marc made many life long friends. He became a son of Randy K. Munson. Marc loved to work with the horses and cattle at the ranch, on the open fields of the Sandhills. Marc loved to build models of any kind, install car stereo systems, and work on his Ford Mustang. Marc was involved in 4H where he loved to show his German Shepherd Dogs and his woodworking projects. Marc loved music of all kinds.

When Marc became a father his life was then devoted to his children. Nothing came before them. Marc took on many jobs to provide for his family. He found his niche’ when he started working for Knights Home Inspection. He earned his many certificates to become a top-notch home inspector. He loved this work and was excited to be a part of it.

Marc never knew a stranger where ever he was. If you needed a helping hand or someone to lean on he was there with you.

Marc and Andi’s Motto in life is “It’s always an adventure.”

Marc leaves behind his 4 children: Logan, Sidney, Grace, and Whitley. His partner in life Andrea (Andi) Kotrous. His brother Martin (Erin) Linn of North Platte, NE, sister Mikaila (Jason) Nicewaner of St. Louis, MO, brother Mitchell Linn of Lincoln, NE, and his only niece Evelyn Kennedy Nicewaner (1). His parents Mary (Randy) Munson of Stapleton, NE. His Aunts: Ann (Luis) Hopkins-Rivera of Stapleton, NE, Robin (Tony) Mikolon of Dearborn, MI, and Chris Linn of Texas. His Uncles: Robert Smith of Leasburg, NC and Marvin Carter of McKinney, TX. Many cousins and many friends.

Preceded in death, his father Michael S. Linn, both sets of Grandparents; Richard and Shirley Linn of North Platte, NE, Robert and Mary Smith of Farmington, MI. Uncle John, Aunt Patty Cusson, and Aunt Treena Smith.

Services will be held at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home and Chapel at 2:00 pm Thursday, April 29th. Visitation on Wednesday, April 28th from 4-8:00 pm. 6800 S. 14th Street Lincoln, NE 68512 Gathering of friends and family following the service at Redeemer Presbyterian Church from 3-5:00 pm. 901 Charleston Street Lincoln, NE 68508.
