I love  you  and I know your in a better place this message comes from the bottom of my heart. you will be missed.

I remember when I was little and use to stay the night at your house, we would play card games, eat delicious food, watch tv, and tell me stories and it would always be fun with you and grandma. you make me laugh, and I will always love you. you will always be in my heart and i will never forget about you, you were one of the best great grandpas who ive known for a long time and ill really miss you

I remember the times I went to your house and always played uno .you were always the first person to make me laugh .I love the stories youd always tell me about the farm. We would always eat ice cream together too, miss you

I really enjoyed all our trips to the farms , and picking up donuts at the bakery in Fairbury, and all the cold drinks shared from  the irrigation pipes, there is a lot of tractor rides I won't forget.

I really miss you grandpa great. You were the best grandpa great in the whole wide world. I liked how you always came to my birthdays. I love you so so much.

I miss you and know you are in heaven. I love you and miss how you picked on me when I came over.

You used to play go fish with me when ever I came over and you always made me laugh. I miss you.

 I have so many wonderful memories with you. From the trip to Chicago, to playing pitch (when I was finally old enough to get to play with the "adults"), to the Easter egg hunt that we couldn't find all the eggs and ended up cutting the bushes in the front of the house in Fairbury. Whenever I get sick, I will make sure and take some blackberry brandy because that will make everything feel better!  You always knew how to put a smile on my face. You would look my way, smile and wink at me, just so I noticed. I was so blessed to have you as my grandfather and my kids to get to have you as their great grandfather. I will always cherish those memories forever. I love and miss you grandpa.

I enjoyed the many conversations we had when we got together. I liked hearing about your farming days and all the hard work you put into them. You will be missed.

I remember the times we played pitch. We won, we lost, but we had lots of fun. I remember the time you showed me how to disc. The tractor was huge. I will miss you Lee and so will Sherry.

I am so sorry I could not attend Lee's funeral or visitation, extending my condolences in person. Shari had left a voice message for me. Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your husband and father. He was a sweet man who reminded me of my dad.
