My sympathy to you!  I really know what you are going through.  I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the Celebration.
He was such a nice guy, polite, nice smile and always willing to help.  He was an asset to the Railroad Club.
Buzz thought the world of him.  Now, they are together.

I am sorry for you loss. Larry was a good man   I called on him often to discuss water related issues. We worked together on GMDA activities. He served Nebraska well on the GMDA board.

My condolences for your loss. Larry was such a good guy. I had the opportunity to work with him through the NRD System. He was so easy to work with and a true conservationist.

I was honored to have worked with Larry on the Platte River and as his major professor for his MS degree. I didn't know of his involvement with the Civil War history, but that is another area where we had similar interests. However, he apparently was more engaged than I am with his service.
We had a number of long trips together during his research on Nine Mile Creek and that led to some good and deep conversations.
Larry's dedication to detail and insistence on accuracy was always a plus for whatever the job he undertook. 
I regret not being able to interact more in recent years.

Sympathy to Larry's family at your loss. He has been a stalwart for the SUV and 1st NE. Proud of have known him and shared our name of "Larry."

The Shiloh troop train adventure will  be one of my best memories of Larry.

It was my great privilege to know Larry and Kendy when I attended UNL in the 1980s; they were both wonderful people in every respect, and I send Kendy and the Angle family by deepest sympathies on Larry's passing.
