Kennedy Jeanne Bowles

Survivors include her parents; brothers Ethan and Riley (Bowles); grandparents; Daryl and Cheryl Bryer, Kenneth Sr. and Jeanne Bowles, aunts; Danielle (Ray Hernandez) Bryer, Christian Zoucha, Kirsten Kidd (Patrick), cousins; Makenna Bryer, Cooper and Bailey Zoucha, Jack, Halle and Erin Kidd.

Preceded in death by her Aunt Tiffany Bryer.

Kennedy attended Humann Elementary, Pound Middle School and was currently a Senior at Lincoln Southeast High School. Kennedy’s intelligence was evident from an early age and she served as a peer model for special education students at Saratoga Elementary at the age of four. In middle school she was invited to complete the ACT as part of a program for Duke University and was awarded the President’s Academic Excellence Award. Most recently Kennedy made Honor Roll at Lincoln Southeast High School. Kennedy had a talent for dancing, painting, singing, photography and was a cheerleader at Cheer Xpress from 2016-17.

Kennedy’s passion was to become a model. In 2018, she signed with Barbizon Modeling and was set to attend their modeling convention in Orlando this summer where she hoped to begin her modeling career. Kennedy also dreamt of being a flight attendant so that she could travel the world.

Kennedy loved her family, her friends, dogs – especially her dog Bodie, fashion and photography. She was incredibly bright, beautiful, strong-willed, a lover of life and was ready to make her mark on the world. Above all she was brave which was proven with her final act in life as she selflessly gave her organs to save the lives of others. Kennedy will live on in others and will forever live on in the hearts of all those she touched.

A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 21, at St. Marks Church, 8550 Pioneers Blvd, Lincoln. No visitation. Memorials may be made to the family. Masks are required along with social distancing. lincolnfh.com Livestreaming: http://stmarks.org/live-stream.
