Karen Wendelin, 79, passed away March 24, 2015. She was born February 29, 1936 to Anton and Ruby Christensen at Panama, NE. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be remembered by her family as well as her friends at the Waverly Care Center. Karen is survived by her son, David Lovelace; brother, Richard (Nancy) Christensen; sister, Georgia (Lester) Languis; her grandchildren as well as her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don Wendelin; daughter in law, Julie Lovelace; sister in law, Lorraine Vajgrt; and nephew, Gary Vajgrt. Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday March 30, 2015 at Lincoln Memorial Park. Please meet at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home by 2:45 PM on Monday. No public viewing or visitation. Memorials in her memory may be directed to the family for future designation.
