In the early 70’s, he and the family moved from the Belmont area to a farm north of Lincoln where he raised cattle and hogs. Moose enjoyed riding his grandchildren around on the lawn mower and bird watching with Gayle out the picture window.
John’s involvements included the Masons, The Shriners and the YMCA.
He had a lengthy battle with “MS”. And was in a care facility for the last 13 years. At South Lake Village Rehabilitation & Care Center he met several friends, many being the loving staff. John also enjoyed his Sunday visits with his buddy, Mark Sullivan. Mark kept his spirits high through all adversity.
John loved life. We loved him.
