Jean was married to Edward C. Gross on June 9, 1951, in Omaha, NE.
Jean’s first love was to her family. She enjoyed summer trips to Okoboji, spending time in Estes Park, her beloved dogs, playing cards with family and friends, and played on many bridge leagues.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward C Gross, and son, John P. Gross.
Jean is survived by her daughters, Carol (John) Chen, Sue Gross, Amy Carpenter, and Julie (Andy) Speedlin; daughter-in-law, Dee Gross; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
A Visitation will be Thursday, November 11, 2021, 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th St, Lincoln, NE. A small, family Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 12, 2021, at 2:00 pm, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home.
Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
