December 23rd, 1950 – May 11th, 2019
Jacqueline Lee Tomlinson went to her forever home in Heaven on Saturday, May 11th, 2019. She passed at The Monarch by Eastmont in Lincoln, NE with her daughters Natalie and Katie by her side. She was 68 years young.
Jackie was born in O’Neill, NE to Virgil and Virginia Tomlinson on December 23rd, 1950. During her high school years at O’Neill High, Jackie excelled and shined in various vocal and instrumental programs, she was a cheer leader, and a drum majorette. She loved her horse “Birdie” and chose to have him over a car when she turned 16. She spent the first night with him in his stable.
Jackie gave her heart and soul to Jesus in 1971, and her love and devotion to God only grew stronger throughout her life. She enjoyed animals of all kinds, especially horses and cats. Her recent kitty, Jasper, was adopted by one of her loving hospice care nurses. She enjoyed singing, playing her flute, worship at church, coffee and conversation with friends, decorating, clothes and jewelry and spending time with her family and friends. She lived a life full of love for her family and friends and most importantly, her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
Jackie is survived by her daughters Natalie Friesen (husband Brent) of Lincoln, Katie Parker (husband Nathan) of Tulsa, OK and her sister Bonnie Kelly (husband Jack) of Plano, TX. Jackie has five grandchildren: Joshua, Jacob and Kaitlyn Friesen of Brent and Natalie Friesen and Joslyn and Elliana Parker of Nathan and Katie Parker. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Virginia Tomlinson, husband Randall Eymann, and son Matthew Eymann Richter.
A celebration of Jackie’s life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, May 18th at Lincoln Berean Church, 6400 S. 70th St., Lincoln, NE 68516 with Pastor’s Bryan Clark and Brad Brestel officiating. Cremation, no visitation. Memorials may be given to the family for a charitable donation to be made in Jackie’s memory at a later date.
