Hazel Elaine Reid

Hazel E. Reid age 89 of Lincoln passed away on November 3, 2017. She was born on June 23, 1928 in Murdock, Nebraska to Simon and Minnie (Bornemeier) Brakhage. Hazel married Richard Reid on August 21, 1948. Hazel is survived by her sons, Mike (Barbara) Reid of Ft. Worth, Texas; Gary (Jill) Reid of Lincoln; grandsons, Chad (Kali) Reid of Belcourt, ND; Ryan (Johanna) Reid of Westport, WA; great-grandchildren, Grant, Kaitlyn, and Jackson of Westport, WA; Harris, Lincoln, and Lochlan of Belcourt, ND; many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces, best friend, Laurel Moxham and family, many friends at Mahoney Manor. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard, brothers, Jess, Floyd, Charlie, Ray, George, Arthur and Francis Brakhage, sisters, Pearl Herman, Opal Allison, Ruby Steinke and Arlene Brakhage. Visitation: Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Service: Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Interment: Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may directed to the family for later designation.
