Gerry was born October 13, 1928 in Anaheim, CA. She passed away November 28, 2018. She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Bryce M. Tyler; parents, Vincent and Ethel Ruiz and brother, Roger Darby. Longtime member of Northside SDA church. She enjoyed her card ministry, knitting, birds, poetry, flowers, reading her bible and singing hymns. Survived by children, Richard M. and Cindy Tyler of Andover, KS and Beverly and James Cowell of Lincoln, NE; grandchildren, Kristin, Russell, Bryce, Zach, Raidyn, Aaryn and Creighton; special friends, Rhonda Heiserman and Amy and Lexi Christensen. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the care staff at Gateway Vista and St. Croix Hospice for the love and compassion they showed to Gerry, especially Austin, Beth, Sandy and Brittany.
