Mr. Gerald Magee

Gerald "Jerry" H. Magee, 77, of Lincoln, passed into eternal life on December 6, 2016. He was born in Lincoln on May 11, 1939, to Hugh & Serena (Hatfield) Magee. A proud U.S. Navy veteran & member of V.F.W. Post #7722. Employed with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. for 38 years. Member of the Nebraska Corvette Association and the Lincoln Choral Artists. One of his fondest hobbies was being a docent for the Museum of American Speed. He was also an avid gardener. Survived by Olivia, his wife of 55 years. Daughters & son-in-law: Dana (Mike) Melroy of West Virginia, Deanna (Ron) Ruff of Bennet. Sons: Paul, Shane & Rudy Magee all of Lincoln. Grandchildren: Josh, Mandy, & Bailey Magee, Devin & Samantha Melroy, & Connor Ruff. Sister & brother-in-law: Cathy (Steve) Kloch of Alliance. Nieces & nephews. Favorite sidekick, Zoey. Preceded in death by parents, & grandson, Jeremiah Magee. Memorials to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Children's Hospital in Omaha, or Lincoln Choral Artists.
