Gary Lee Law (86), passed away May 2, 2021, after a battle with cancer, at Midwest Covenant Home, in Stromsburg, NE. He was born January 16, 1935, in Falls City, NE, to Harold J and Gladys May (Allen) Law.
On September 16, 1953, Gary enlisted in the Nebraska National Guard, and later, the United States National Guard. From 1954 to 1975, he was married to Marilyn Bouwens, and from 1976 to 2019, was married to Marie Zimmerman.
Gary was an over-the-road Trucker for most of his working life. He also had a job for a short time in a bakery, from which he developed a life-long love for baking. He made the best pies in the world! He also worked for Farmland in Crete, NE. When he wasn’t working, Gary loved to garden and grow his own vegetables, but his true gardening passion was for his flowers.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marie (Zimmerman) Law; daughters, Brenda Stutzman, and Joellen Eulberg; son-in-laws, Chris Navrkal, Terry Stutzman, and John Eulburg. Also preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
Gary is survived by daughters, Sheryl Navrkal, of Elmwood, and Margot (Tom) Meahan, of Beaver Crossing; son-in-law, Michael Stutzman; 4 granddaughters, 8 grandsons, 7 great-granddaughters, 6 great-grandsons, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Graveside Service will be held Friday, May 14, 2021, 1:00pm, at Lincoln Memorial Park. 6700 S. 14th St, Lincoln, NE. A Celebration of Life and Dessert Reception will follow, 1:30 to 3:00pm, downstairs in the reception room at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. 6800 S. 14th St, Lincoln, NE.
