Evelyn J. Anderson

Evelyn J. Anderson, aged 91, passed away on March 19, 2025, in Casa Grande, Arizona. Born in Hampton, Nebraska, to Carl and Lizzie Schrader, Evelyn spent much of her life in Lincoln. She married Col. Donald L. Anderson on November 8, 1953, in Hampton.

She was a devoted fan of Nebraska sports teams, especially the Cornhuskers, whom she followed passionately throughout her life. In 2019, Evelyn moved to Arizona to live with her daughter Linda. By 2022, she transitioned into assisted living, where she found an extended family who cared for her lovingly.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Don; two brothers, Dean and Lowell; and a son, Richard. Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Lois and Linda; her sons, Roger and Ron; as well as her grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Lincoln Memorial Park and Cemetery, 6700 South 14th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68512.
