Erin Kylie McKee, age 28, passed away in Lincoln NE, on Sunday, July 24, 2022. Erin was born in Reno NV, on May 14, 1994 and is the daughter of Pamela Saul and David Saul. She spent her first 11 years growing up in Las Vegas NV before moving to Lincoln NE. She has 2 sisters, Kathy Ann and Kaylee Kirk, and 4 brothers, Hayden, Forrest, Cooper, and Finnegan Saul.
Erin met Jacob McKee in middle school, after moving to Lincoln. They began dating their senior year of high school, in 2011. Erin graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2016 and she loved her career as a cost accountant. On July 11, 2020, Erin and Jacob were joined in marriage in front of family and friends.
Erin had a great love for her family, friends, and dogs. She would go out of her way to help with anything asked and was always someone they could lean on. Erin loved to learn and teach board games to anybody who would sit nearby. She and Jacob enjoyed their time spent volunteering with the Great Plains Gaming Festival. Erin had a deep love for everything renaissance and learned all that she could about her great historical muse King Henry VIII. She was also drawn to books and movies about fantasy, supernatural, and sci-fi.
Erin is survived by her loving husband Jacob McKee; her mother, Pamela Saul; her father, David Saul; parents-in-law, Sue McKee-Neill and Doug Neill; sisters, Kathy Ann and Kaylee Kirk; sister-in-law Jessica Whyrick; brothers, Hayden, Forrest, Cooper and Finnegan Saul; grandparents Lonnie and Geraldine Mostek, Carol Saul, Sharon and Marvin Churchill; many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives. Erin is preceded in death by her grandfather Fred Saul, and great grandparents Lonnie and Roma Mostek, and Edward and Marjorie Sueper.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
