Edythe Louise Susie Glover Languis passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 6, 2022 in Torrance, CA, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 19, 1924 in Bennet, Nebraska to John and Tula (Morgan) Glover. Louise graduated from Bennet High School in 1940. She married Lloyd Languis in El Paso Texas on October 8, 1942. Lloyd and Louise lived in many places in the first years of their marriage, but settled permanently in Torrance in 1956.
She is survived by her two daughters Neva (Bob) Roy, Torrance, CA and Lana (Jon) Hadley, Montgomery, Tx; 8 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren and
nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd and son Lonnie; and her four brothers, Ray, Sterling, Bob and Ted (Morgan) Glover.
In her lifetime, she held many roles…..daughter, sister, sister-in-law, wife, mother, mother-in-law, aunt, grandma, great grandma and great-great grandma. She cherished each role with pride!!
She was much loved and admired by those around her and spent her life caring for others.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, Februay 16, 2022 at the Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S 14th Street, Lincoln, NE 68512, with visitation starting at 1:00 pm prior to the service.
