Edna (Nejezchleb) Sutter, 99, born January 5, 1924, to Adolph and Rose (Mazour) Nejezchleb died on January 26, 2023. Survived by her brother James Nejezchleb, sister Margaret Mertens, many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Edna is preceded in death by her Parents, husband Richard Sutter, brother George (Irma) Nejezchleb, sister Mildred (Joseph) Knapp, brother-in-law Edwin Mertens, sister-in-law Sharon Nejechleb and nieces and nephews.
She worked in various bookkeeping positions in Hastings and Lincoln. Edna will be remembered for her good sense of humor and her practical jokes. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Special thanks to the staff at Southlake Village and CHI Hospice for their care.
Visitation will be held at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th Street, Lincoln, NE, on Monday, January 30, 2023, from 1pm to 2 pm with a funeral service following immediately after at 2pm. lincolnfh.com
