Donald L. Reinhold KØGOR 84. Passed peacefully unto our Heavenly Father at his home in Lincoln NE. on May 20 2014. He was born in Hooper Ne on Sept 9, 1929. He was a son, brother, husband and father. He became an Eagle Scout and had a profound positive influence on several young men as a scoutmaster. Don married his high school sweetheart Wandalee at age 18, and served our country proudly in the Air Force where he developed a devotion for ham radio, he returned home as a veteran of foreign wars. Don earned a degree in Engineering at the University of Nebraska and his personal and professional career was vivid and fulfilling, from helping to design the first Atlas missile, to raising a family and finally retiring from the gas company after 30 years of service. Don spent his retirement years consulting on various projects, spending time with Wandalee, and his beloved fellow members of the ham radio operators organization. His sense of humor and gentle nature was infectious. You made a difference that endures. We love you. Don’s Family includes: Wandalee (wife), Dale and Diane (children), Kala, Alex, Ryan, Rob, Nathan, Brennan (grandchildren), Gaige (great grandson).
