Mr. Donald L Damkroger

Donald L Damkroger, 90, of Lincoln, died February 6th, 2018. He was born March 10, 1927 in DeWitt, Nebraska, son of Henry W and Minnie Damkroger. Don had two brothers, Henry and Walter and one sister, Pearl Splittgerber, all deceased. Don married Doris Tate, December 1, 1978. He farmed most of his life even after moving to Lincoln in 1989. He and Doris enjoyed many years golfing, bowling, playing cards, traveling and dancing. He was a lifetime member of the Lutheran church. He is survived by his wife Doris, his children, Dr. Sam and Patricia Boon, Dave and Margie Tate, Mike and Deb Eckery, Bill Tate, Dennis and Tina Gartner; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Eileen Damkroger, nephews Allen and Doug Damkroger, Ron and Vicki Splittgerber, Rick and Meredith Splittgerber, Gary Splittgerber, and grand nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 12, at 11:00 at Southwood Lutheran Church, 4301 Wilderness Hills Blvd. No visitation. Family will greet guests upon arrival.
