David P. Owen, 65, of Lincoln, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015. He was born in Lincoln, NE on September 19, 1949 to Paul and Rosemary (Powers) Owen. David worked for Lincoln Public Schools as a Strings Specialist from 1977 to 2014. Established the S.O.K.S. and Jr. Youth Orchestra for LPS in 1978. Survivors: Wife, Phyllis. Daughter, Katie (Mike) Bohling. Son, Jeff (Liz) Owen. Step-children, Eric (Amy Roth) Ulrich, Alyssa (Ben) Brouwer. Brother, Phil Owen. Sister, Mary (David) Kerrigan. Grandchildren, Alexander, McKenzie, Brooklynn and Abigail Bohling, and Atley Owen. Step-Grandchildren, Olivia and Sophia Brouwer. Preceded in death by: Parents.
