David passed away on June 24, 2018. Born on August 18, 1961, in York, Nebraska to Billie & Janet (Tagge) Maier. Graduated from Lincoln Southeast High School in 1979.
Dave worked for many years at Central Plains Millwork and for the past 10 years was an employee at Co-Op near Raymond, NE. Dave had a flair for chatting with people and developed many friendships during his employment.
Dave was very handy and mechanical, if he worked on something you knew that the project was done perfection. He was a great gardener and camping was one of his pleasures of life.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Maier; grandparents Albert & Agnes Tagge and John & Edna Maier.
Survivors: father, Billie Maier of Lincoln; brother, Robert & Shari Maier, Lincoln; sisters, Beth Maier of Lincoln, Kathy & Jeff Taebel of Houston and Eileen & Reggie Dennis of Lincoln. Six nieces and nephews and six great-nieces and nephews.
Memorial may be given to the American Lung Association. Service will be held at 12:30pm on Monday, July 2nd at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th Street, Lincoln.
