Connie made the brave move to Nebraska at age 19 in order to give her family a better life. She loved her native country but was determined to give her children all the opportunities possible to be successful and happy. She sacrificed all her life for others. Connie was kind, giving, and always believed in helping those less fortunate. She loved animals and had many pets throughout her life. This included countless poodles, chihuahuas, and birds. They lived a life of kings as her pets. In her free time, Connie could be found tending to her roses and garden of flowers. She had a green thumb and could make any plant thrive and bloom.
Connie was hard working and had a tough exterior but had a heart of gold. She was kind, compassionate, and understood the struggles of those who had little. She could make you laugh just by watching and listening; no jokes were needed.
Connie is survived by three children Juanita Sanchez of North Carolina, Gloria Ryken (Gary) of Lincoln, and Dora Bright (Kevin Matulka) of Underwood, IA., five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one beloved chubby chihuahua Nikki and numerous nephews and nieces. Connie is preceded in death by her husband Harold Schuster, son Hector Sanchez, four sisters, one brother, and many beloved pets.
