Claire C. Beach, 91, of Lincoln, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014. He was born on September 24, 1923 in Barnes City, IA to Howard and Opal Beach. WW II veteran of the U.S. Navy. Avid outdoorsman. Finishing his career as a Boy Scout Camp Ranger. Co-Editor of the Weeping Water Republican from the 1940s to the 1960s.
Survivors: Wife of 71 years, JoAnn. Son; Lani (Bev) Beach. Daughters; Laurie Merrifield and Barb (Brad) Loos. 5 Grandchildren. 5 Great-Grandchildren. From Nebraska to Sweden. Sister; Betty (Paul) Rotenbery.
