Chuck married Kathy Tramel on August 17, 1968.
Survived by wife Kathy; sister Sharon Buckner; sister-in-law Cynthia Tramel; nieces and nephews: Dean (Elaine) Tramel; Scott Durr; Brad Buckner; Kathy Durr; Shari Centamore; Sheri Buckner and Robert Tramel; great nieces and nephews; godsons Justin Adams and Travis Tucker.
Chuck served in the Army from 1969-1971 and in Vietnam. He was Past State President of the Nebraska Elks, Past District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler and Past Exalted Ruler Lincoln Lodge 80.
Chuck installed floor covering for many years some as an independent contractor and owned his own floor covering store for eight years.
Chuck enjoyed auctions, fishing, hunting and traveling (going to Las Vegas twice a year); collecting rocks (cut and polished many), and marbles. He was happiest behind the wheel of an RV.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68512. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
