Casey D Sanders

Sanders, Casey D. age 56 of Lincoln, died Saturday, May 23, 2015. Born in Lincoln, NE Casey proudly served two tours in the US Army and was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed everything outdoors but he especially enjoyed cooking, smoking and grilling. He loved his dogs and was an avid cyclist. Preceding him in death is his step-father Gail Fruehling and he is survived by his wife Maureen; daughters Sara Sanders, Abigail (Justin) Sanders-Elwonger; sons Tremayne (Karen) Thompson-Pollard, Courtney Thompson-Pollard; grandchildren Janessa, Sergio, Tremayne, Jr. and Isabella; mother Vivian Fruehling; sister Gail Lynn (Andrea Shaffer) Sanders; brother Don (Debra) Fruehling. Memorial service will be at 3PM, Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home 6800 S. 14th St. Lincoln, NE. Memorials to the Capital City Humane Society.
