Carol Lynne Linder, age 61, of Lincoln, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. Carol was born May 24, 1962 to George and Marlene (Tichy) Rezek. She graduated from Pius X High School in 1981. After that she worked for Quebecor Printing for 22 years. She met the love of her life Paul on New Year's Day in 1993 and they married on August 22,1998, becoming a family with her daughter Melissa.
She enjoyed being with her granddaughters, playing games and drawing with them. She also enjoyed shuffleboard, keno and lottery tickets, and aerobics. She was a big fan of the Detroit Lions. She also enjoyed watching game shows like The Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune, finding treasures at garage sales. She loved drawing and had a strong love for cats and animals, as well as strawberry margaritas and the color pink.
Carol is survived by her loving husband of 25 years Paul Linder; daughter Melissa Snyder; 3 granddaughters, Mackenzie Shandera, Adison and Kami Snyder; father-in-law Delfs (Becky) Linder; mother-in-law Sandy (Darryl) Amen; sisters, Susie Jackson, Sheryl (Wayne) Fisher, Cindy (Dave) Ottersberg, Jackie (Steve) Schoonover; brothers-in-law Mark (Lisa) Linder, Matt (Katy) Linder; sisters-in-law, Julie (Chris) Walbrecht, Jessica (Nate) Hart; 22 nieces and nephews, and many great and great-great nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents George and Marlene Rezek.
A visitation for Carol will be held Monday, December 18, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with a rosary at 6:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S 14th St., Lincoln, NE 68512. A celebration of life will occur Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 10:00 AM, 6800 S 14th St., Lincoln, NE 68512.
