Brenda Joyce Reed, 59, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014, at her home in Pleasant Dale, NE, surrounded by family and friends. She was born on December 5, 1954, to Edwin and Luella Canarsky. She married Herbert Reed II, on February 14, 1989. They both worked at Duncan Aviation. Brenda successfully started Flame Out Inc., and GEM Quarter Horses. She loved spending time with her family on the farm and at the lake. She will be dearly missed by her husband Herb, her daughters Elicia and Missy, her son-in-law Clint, her mother Luella, and other friends and family members. She was preceded in death by her father Edwin. Brenda fought the good fight against cancer until the end. Visitation will be on Friday, October 3 from 6-8 p.m. at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. A Celebration of Brenda’s Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Lincoln Berean Church, 6400 South 70th Street. Interment will be at Lincoln Memorial Park on Saturday at 2:00 PM. Memorials may be directed to GEM Quarter Horses.
