Bill Dale Burkey

Bill was born on May 7th, 1948, to Wayne and June Burkey in Lincoln NE. After Bill graduated from Southeast High School in 1967, he went on to join the Navy. After 4 years in the Navy, Bill started his journey towards his love for carpentry.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and June Burkey, his sister, Candise, his brothers Dave and Terry Burkey and his nieces, Theresa and Tonya.

Bill is survived by his wife, Jone Burkey. His daughters, Megan (Jaime) Esquivel and Candice (Jesse) Beck. His sons, Beau (Kathy) Rothschild and Jonathan (Bari) Rothschild. He was the proud Papa of 3 loving grandchildren, Logi, Demps, and Bear. His brothers, Rod (Vicki) Burkey, Mark (Deb) Burkey, and sister, Mary (Vern) Vilhauer. Brother and sister-in-law’s Joyce (Dave) Burkey, Gloria (Terry) Burkey, Pamela (Marvin) Feldman, Michael (Judy) Kenter, and Ben (Lisa) Kenter. Bill is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and cousins that he loved dearly.

The family invites friends and loved ones to send cards and condolences to Jone Burkey at 5644 Locust st, Lincoln NE, 68516. Bill is to be cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
