Mrs Betty Bee Spahn

Betty B. (Fellows) Spahn left this life on February 20, 2019. Born to Ray and Ruth (Ohmberger) Fellows on October 19, 1921 in Burton, NE. She grew up in north central Nebraska. She married Ernest Spahn on September 1, 1946 in Ainsworth, Nebraska. Three children were born to this union. They lived their entire married life in Lincoln. She loved her flower gardens and traveling across our vast country. Preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Bob, Dell and Joy, husband Ernie and daughter Kathie Mommens. Survived by daughter Sandy Biven (Lincoln); son and daughter-in-law Phil and Judy Spahn (Lincoln); 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends including the wonderful people at Tabitha Services and those especially at Martin House who took such wonderful care of her. Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th Street, Lincoln, NE. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in her name to Tabitha Hospice, American Cancer Society or ALS Foundation.
