Betty Jean Alm, 82, of Lincoln passed away peacefully on September 21, 2024. She was born to Harvey and Alma Heiser on April 10, 1942. Betty grew up in a loving farm community in Dunbar, Nebraska. She went on to finish business school in Lincoln.
While raising two daughters, she worked as an Executive Secretary for the State of Nebraska her entire career. Her interests were sewing, listening to country music, dancing and cooking or baking anything sweet. Betty was a loving wife to Wes for over 30 years. She was a dedicated mother, grandma and great-grandma. She will be remembered for being a great storyteller, a friend to everyone, and lighting up a room with her smile.
She is survived by her daughters, Robyn Bool (Jeff) of Lincoln and Vicki Collins (Casey) of Lincoln; four grandchildren, Tyler Collins, Cody Collins (Kayden Peters), Connor Bool (Morgan), Carly Bool (fiancé Josh Makovicka); her precious great-grandchildren, Brady and Drew Bool; brothers, Marv Heiser (Janie) and Dale Heiser (Sherrie) along with their families. Betty is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Wes.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am, Friday, September 27, 2024 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 1200 S 40th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68510, with a viewing one hour prior to services.
