Alec Jesse Grams

Alec Jesse Grams had a deep and adventurous spirit with both a passion and talent for the arts, which included drawing, writing and music. Sadly, his life was cut short at the age of twenty-nine on February 23, 2024 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Born to Jesse and Michelle Grams, Alec and his twin brother Austin arrived in this world on November 22, 1994 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Alec’s younger brother Zack was born in 2002. The family moved to Peoria, Arizona in 2010, whereupon Alec graduated high school in 2012.

Alec enjoyed working as a solar installer and in his free time wrote poetry and short stories. He carried a strong confidence, poise, and an infectious laugh, smile and charisma that won him friends easily and endeared him to many. He was one of those rare beings that exudes authenticity and kindness one doesn’t often find so easily in this world.

Alec’s ardent belief in his faith and in God saw him through many of life’s difficulties. Though the body that held him is no longer with us, his spirit will always be amongst us. He was much loved and will be greatly missed by many.

Alec was preceded in death by his brother Austin and survived by his parents Jesse and Michelle, younger brother Zack, as well as his grandparents: Dennis and Lynn Grams, Carolyn Soucie, Claudia Davis and Bill Arfmann, Richard Soucie and Sheila King. His surviving aunts and uncles include: Scott, Angie, Shawn, Christina, Ryan, Anmarie, Jason, Laura, Andy, Mary, Ashleigh, and Mike. Surviving cousins are: Elizabeth, Alexis, Patton, Maya, Wyatt, Will, Abby, Kylee, Makayla, Ciel, Kady, Tausha, Keegan, and Jackson. A celebration of Alec’s life will be held at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home 6800 S. 14th St. in Lincoln, NE on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to, Community of Grace Lutheran Church
