Gail Margaret Jensen

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Gail Margaret (Woolley) Jensen passed away on August 4, 2024, in Roseville, CA after a long battle from a stroke. She was 76. She was born February 12, 1948 in Oakland CA to Ed and Rose Woolley. She grew up in Newark,CA and attended Newark High School, graduating in 1966. She married her high school sweetheart, Larry Jensen in 1968 and became a dental assistant. In 1986, her family moved to Loomis, CA and she eventually became a certified nurse’s aide.

Gail was the mother we all strive to be. She gave selflessly and always tried to make a bad situation better. Her kids and grandkids always came first. From cooking socks to turning things into a duck’s foot, we sometimes never knew what she would come up with. She loved animals, especially her dogs Leah, Dunk’n, and Little Bear.

Gail is survived by her three daughters and their spouses: Corrina Harmon, Lincoln CA; Lorraine and Richard Fratto, Silver Springs NV; and Denise and Aubrey Medlin, Foresthill CA; her brother Gerald Woolley, Manteca CA; her sister and brother -in-law Deborah and Gregg Sisk, McKinleyville CA; her ex-husband Larry Jensen, Silver Springs NV, all her grandchildren: Ryan Harmon; Ricky, Jeffrey, Jackson, and Donovan Fratto; and Montana and Jeremiah Medlin; and all of her nieces and nephew: Beverly J, Linda I, Kim S, Deanna W, Daniel W, Jennifer R, Karen T, and Susan S. Gail is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Montana Rose Woolley and her grandchildren, unnamed Medlin twins and Gabriella Rose Fratto.

At Gail’s request, there will only be a simple spreading of ashes ceremony for family. Location, date, and time to be determined and family will be notified.
