I have had the joy of knowing Cynthia and Brodie when she hired me to groom him. I am so sorry for the loss of such a sweet soul. I had some of the best conversations with her when I’d groom Brodie. It became a highlight of my appointments with her. Rest in peace ❤️

I learned of Cindy's passing today.  We were classmates at UOP.  We lost touch many years ago.

During our time at school, she was my big sister.  A kind soul.  Always supportive, protective and positive.  A great study partner and an even better friend.  So smart, she made school seem easy. 

  I will never forget the school pranks and the all-night cramming sessions.

You are always in my thoughts, I am forever grateful for meeting you and the short time we had together, I will miss you.

My dear Cynthia, your passing sure was a gut punch,  I don't remember the exact moment we met but I know our lives intertwined since 1st grade.  Our friendship grew through grade school, swimming recreationally and competitively. After that we bonded during our awkward teen years assuring each other that we weren't as ugly as the mirror was reflecting back to us. We had each other's backs when it felt like every person was against during those years. Once we made it through high school off to separate colleges we went. The 1,000 between us didn't deter us, our friendship grew stronger,  and many great adventures took place. We were there for each other's weddings and births of our children. Then bam, life really kicked in. We lost contact for several years due to being across the country and both of us trying to keep our heads above water to survive.  Once life slowed down a bit we reconnected by phone I remember the hours long phone calls me in Arkansas and you in California, it was like no time went by. We shared the 14 years we missed,  my girls thought I was crazy pacing in the pastures cackling like a school girl again. My best friend was back.  We kept connected by phone and texts, until one fateful night  Rocklin, California heard the loudest scream when we got to see each other in person for the first time in 27 years. It was as if time and life never passed with the exception of  outward appearance of two old ladies jumping up and down hugging crying and being with my best friend again. The year that followed until your passing was some of the high points in my life. I really need my friend right now to assure me everything is going to be okay!  I love you and miss you terribly.
