Terry L Blake

Terry L. Blake, 70 of Lima died at 6:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at his residence in Lima. He was born on June 25, 1941 in Ashland, Ohio to Robert L. and Dorothy (Siniff) Blake. His father Robert survives him in Lima; his mother preceded him in death. On August 10, 1968 in Columbus Grove, Ohio he married Irene Smith and she survives him.

Terry is also survived by his sons: Terry Patrick (April M.) Blake and Robert Barry (Heather) Blake all of Lima. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Belle, Ethan, Rob, Beau, Hannah and a new baby to be born in January; his siblings, Paul Eugene (Jackie) Blake of Corona, California, Irene (Kenny) Siefker of Ottawa, Michael Blake of Celina and Barbara (Bryan) Clum of Lima.

Mr. Blake retired from the Ford Motor Company being employed there as a Scrubber. He was a faithful member of Lima Missionary Baptist Church, he was a Merchant Marine during the Vietnam War era; he was a fantastic husband and father, he adored his grandchildren, he loved reading and the outdoors.

Along with his mother he is preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Blake and a sister, Margie Krementz.

Funeral Services will be conducted 12 Noon, Friday, June 22, 2012 at Lima Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. Terry Brock and Donnie Smith, officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, June 21 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio and one hour prior to the service at the church.
