She was born on March 16, 1916 in Darke County, Ohio to Charles Walter and Minnie M. (Heistand) Anderson and they preceded her in death. On September 27, 1933 she married John B. Arnett and he passed away in January of 1987.
Mrs. Arnett’s survivors include her children, Daniel L. (Barbara) Arnett of Lima, Charles E. (Ploma) Arnett, of Lima, Jack D. (Diana) Arnett of Cookeville, TN, Paul V. (Lonnie) Arnett of Lima, a daughter-in-law: Diane Arnett of Indiana, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Mona Anderson of Auglaize County.
Mary was also preceded in death by a son: Richard N. Arnett, a daughter: Pauline L. Arnett; her siblings: Albert, Chester, Forest, Clarence, Charles and Raymond Anderson; Mildred Rose, Minnie Anderson and Waveline G. Birt.
Mrs. Arnett was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother, and she retired from Ryan’s Market as a cashier. She had been a group leader during WWII painting stars on vehicles. She was a member of Lima First Missionary Church; a member of the Mended Hearts, the Council on Aging, and had been a member of the Westgate Neighborhood Association.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 9, 2015 at SIFERD-ORIANS FUNERAL HOME, with Rev. Dr. Timothy White, officiating.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Family and friends may call Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
