James Edward “Ed” Bracy, II, 72 of Lima passed away early Tuesday morning, May 7, 2013 at St. Rita’s Medical Center. Ed was born on November 3, 1940 in Ottawa, Ohio to James Edward & Frances Mae (Frey) Bracy, and they preceded him in death. On May 19, 1962 in Harrod, Ohio he married his loving wife, Janet Bradford, they would have been married for 51 years this month and she survives him.
He was the loving father of Jodie (Tim) Wandtke of Maumee, Mitchell (Lisa) Bracy of Lima and Keith (Amy) Bracy of Wapakoneta. He also is survived by his dear grandchildren, Jenna Kay, Marissa Maye, Austin Edward and Nathaniel Jacob. He is survived by a sister, Linda Shank, and his very special little friend, Woody, his toy fox terrier.
In 2006, Mr. Bracy retired from Ohio Decorative Products in Spencerville where he was employed as the Cost Accountant. He was a great loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home with Rev. officiating. Burial will be at Harmon Cemetery in Ottawa at a later date.
Visitation will be Friday, May 10 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home.
