Jack E Root

He was a graduate of Lima Senior High School and was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church.

Mr. Root was employed at the Ford Motor Company, P & G Packaging and Tiltons in Lima as well as McDonalds Industries in Spencerville.

Survivors include a son: Aaron J. Root of Lima, his mother Louella Root of Lima, four sisters, Julie M. Lee of Wapakoneta, Vickie (Aimel) Gibson of Cridersville, Darlene Hammond of Dayton and Lisa Root of Lima; a brother, Robert “Steve” Root of Lima; 10 nieces and nephews, 16 great nieces and nephews and three great great nephews; and many aunts and uncles. He will be dearly missed by family companions, Duke and Duchess.

He was preceded in death by his father, John E. Root and uncles Richard and Larry Crow.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home 506 N. Cable Rd. Lima with burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 1, 2012 from 4 until 8 p.m. at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to St. Rose Catholic Church, Lima, Ohio.
