Donna Jean Brown

Donna Jean Brown, age 59, of Lima, passed away at her residence on June 11th at 11:56 p.m., surrounded by her family. She was born Feb. 8, 1956, in Lima, to William and Bonita (Smith) Voress who preceded her in death. On Nov. 20, 1976, she married Robert L. Brown who survives.

Donna loved her daughters Shanna Armentrout of Lima, Melissa (Timothy) Barlow of Springfield, Carrie (Tony Salvatore) Peters of Columbus, Heather (Eric) Stevenson of Belle Glade, FL and Sara (Matt) Elsass of Wapakoneta with a love only a mother can know. Donna leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Donna had 9 siblings: Robert (Louise) Voress, Nancy (Kenny) Reis, Greg (Sue) Rhinock, Rebecca (Steve) Dunahay, Timothy (Billie) Voress and Adam (Tina) Rayl all of Lima, Rick Pugsley, Sue Piper, and Lynn (Nolan) Porter.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, William Voress, Jr. and Kenny Voress.

Donna was the manager for Hampton Greene Apartments. She also owned her own cake business "Cakes by Donna" and was "The Avon Lady". She was a servant of the Lord, teaching children's church and was involved in the AWANA club for kids at Grace Baptist Church for many years.

Visitation for Donna will be on Monday June 15th from 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home. Her funeral service will begin at 10 am on Tuesday June 16th with Pastor Matthew Oliver officiating. Entombment will follow in Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Baptist Church.
