David Franklin Jamison, 68, of Lima passed away at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, October 18, 2016, at the Baton Rouge Senior Health Services Community. David was born in Lima on February 26, 1948, to Joseph Jamison and Martha (Good) Oswald and they survive him.
David retired from Ford Motor Company as an Assembler. He was an avid golfer and member of the Ford Motor Retirees. David volunteered at the West Ohio Food Bank and at the Johnny Appleseed Park District.
David is survived by his son, David W. (Luciana) Jamison, Jr. of Coral Springs, Florida. He is also survived by his grandson, Colton Jamison of Coral Springs; his siblings, Steven (Diane) Jamison of Marengo, Ohio, Jenny (Ken) Hoehn of Lima, Vicky (Loran) Miracle of Findlay, and three nieces, four nephews, and seven great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 20, 2016 at SIFERD-ORIANS FUNERAL HOME 506 N. Cable Rd. Lima, Ohio with Rev. Loran Miracle officiating. Family and friends can call on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
