She worked for the IRS since 1988 and was grateful to have that independence.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, and brother. She was also preceded in death by Barbara Yawn, who was her caregiver and dear friend. She leaves behind a brother, Randall Segars, a nephew, niece and her children.
She also leaves behind Glenda Hogan, Barbara's sister, who became her caregiver and closest companion and the extended family that considered her a part of the family for almost 40 years.
She will be terribly missed by all that knew and loved her. It was her wish to be buried in Johnsonville, SC next to Barbara.
