Michael Raymond "Mack" Rauch, 49, embarked on the ultimate adventure beyond life's mortal coil on January 11, 2024. Born in Hershey, PA, on July 8, 1974, Mike's life was as rich and delightful as the town's famous chocolates. Son of Russell Ronald Rauch and the late Diane Rose Rauch, and from a young age, he showed signs of being a natural-born charmer, a trait that even canines couldn't resist.
Mike was known for his infectious personality and vibrant sense of humor. He had a way of making everyone laugh and smile, regardless of the challenges they faced. He mastered the art of the sarcastic retort and wielded it with the precision of a Jedi. He had the remarkable ability to connect with people from all walks of life. A fierce love for his family and a deep loyalty to his friends.
Mike's love for animals was evident in his ability to charm even the most aggressive dogs. He had a special bond with his dogs, Izzy & Luna. Mike was also a diehard Notre Dame fan, with Joe Montana being his all-time favorite player.
Professionally, Mike worked as a Wildlife Specialist with All Exterminating GA, where he proved that even the wildest creatures could find a friend in humanity. He was dedicated to his work and made a positive impact on his customers.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Sara Beth Rauch; daughter, Shelby "Boo" Jean Rauch; nephew/son, Conner "The Boy" Ryan Rauch; father, Russell Ronald Rauch; sister, Heather Renee Pierce-Wheeler; and his loyal canine companions, Izzy Bell Rauch and Luna "Lunatic" Eboni Rauch. He was greeted on the other side by his mother, Diane Rose Rauch, and brother, Jason Russell Rauch, with open arms.
A memorial service for all will be held on February 4th, 2024, at Sweetwater Memorial Chapel in Lawrenceville, GA, from 4 pm to 6 pm. A life celebration will take place on February 17th, 2024, in FL.
