Born July 28, 1963, she was preceded in death by her father, Frank Hein, and her brothers,
Edward and Russ Hein. She is survived by her mother Elizabeth Ann Hein, husband Robert
Butler Jr. of Snellville and her children Sara Butler of Athens and Tyler Butler of Duluth. Other
survivors include her sister Susan Prudhomme (Jim) of Charlotte, NC and brothers James Hein
(Beatriz) of Woodstock, William Hein (Janet) of Charlotte, NC and Sisters in-law Mary Hein and
Cindy Rogers.
Beth is best known professionally for her time as the business manager for Holy Cross Catholic
Church. She graduated from Henderson High School and received an Associates Degree in
Mechanical Engineering. She was an advocate for children with ADD/ADHD and was an avid
volunteer for the CHADD organization. She also worked for GNR Mental Health.
Beth was a devoted mother and wife to her family. She enjoyed everything culinary and was
known for her holiday treats and sweets. She was passionate about animals, specifically dogs,
she was known for her work in rescuing dogs and other animals. She enjoyed her time helping
and participating in the choir and annual charity plays at Holy Cross Catholic Church.
The Memorial Service will be at 11am on June 2nd at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father
Richard and Father Patrick officiating. A potluck reception will be held at their home in Snellville
following the service. In lieu of flowers we are asking for donations to be made to FurKids.org
Animal Rescue. A cause that meant a great deal to Beth.
