Susan "Susie" Smith Malloy

She was an active member of Pleasant Garden Baptist Church and enjoyed knitting with Busy Bees making hats for the NICU babies at Women’s Hospital.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Garden Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Michael Barrett; burial will follow in Dr. Clyde M. Gilmore Memorial Park in Julian. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home, Liberty and other times at the home of her daughter, Danielle, 510 E. Hwy 62, Pleasant Garden, NC.

She was the daughter of the late Lucian Smith and Lillian Barker Smith and was also preceded in death by her brother, Dale Smith.

Susie is survived by her husband David O. Malloy, Jr.; daughters, Tina Harris (Chris), Jennie West (Billy Berry) and Danielle Dean (Michael); grandchildren, Cody (Amanda), Dylan, Jake, Jewel, Jonathan, Jacob and her granddog, Red.
