Sarah Margaret Euliss Stout

Sarah was a lifelong member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church and the Pleasant Hill Community where she enjoyed the fellowship of her friends and neighbors. She retired from Brower Furniture Company after many years of service. She was a graduate of Sylvan High School where she was a star basketball player. Sarah had a warm and nurturing heart; her greatest joy was her family and being a loving source of comfort to those around her. She helped raise her granddaughter many years ago and later in life she was the primary caretaker for her son when his health declined.

She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Norvella Smith Euliss and was also preceded in death by her husband, James Teague "Jimmy" Stout; son, John "Robbie" Stout; sister, Laura McBane; brothers, John Euliss, Max Euliss and Warren Euliss.

Surviving is her granddaughter, Robin Stout Leary and husband, Lee; great-granddaughter, Brittany Hubbard and husband, Dylan; great-great-granddaughter, Sarah McNabb.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 12:00 until 12:45 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Christian Church, 1712 Pleasant Hill Liberty Road, Liberty, NC. A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Christian Church Cemetery.

At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Hill Christian Church, 1712 Pleasant Hill Liberty Road, Liberty, NC 27298.
