A graveside funeral service will be held, Monday, February 16, 2015 at 11 AM at Sandy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend L.N. Stanley officiating.
Russell was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Benton and Unia Spencer Mize; sisters Goldie Spencer, Betsy Mize and Ruby Mize; brothers, Charlie Mize, Vester Mize and Chester Mize.
Russell is survived by his wife, Barbara Mize of Pleasant Garden, daughter Cynthia Mize Kinney (James) of Madison, NC; son Russell Benton Mize, Jr. (Jessica) of Pleasant Garden; Grandchildren, Ashley Mize, Tracey Kinney, Donna Ellis, James Kinney, Jr. and Brandon Duncan; Great Grandchildren, Makayla Ellis and Alaina Kinney.
