Richard Carlyle Brady

A private burial will be held by the family.

Richard was a native of Ramseur. He graduated from Elon College in 1953. He lived most of his life in Richmond, Virginia and retired from Greater Richmond Transit Co. After returning to his hometown of Ramseur, Richard became a resident of Cross Road Retirement Community in Asheboro. He had a warm heart and always a smile on his face.

Richard was the son of the late Sue Siler and Herbert Fields Brady. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Julian Brady, Hampton Brady, and James N. Brady; and sister, Betty Sue Pinski.

He is survived by his sister-in-law, Cathryn C. Brady; nieces, Dr. Suzie Pinski, Suzanne Craven (Wallace), Cathy Deaton (Moe), Jamie Kirkman (Danny); great-nieces and nephew, Stephanie Schwartz (Matthew), April Pacholski (Tony), Brady Craven (Megan), Danielle Gallimore, and Laura Gallimore; and great-great nieces and nephew, Rebekah Schwartz, Elijah Pacholski, and Raegan Schwartz.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friendship Independent Church, 2598 Buffalo Ford Road, Asheboro, NC 27205.
