Patricia Ann Merritt Allred

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Red Cross Baptist Church, 2957 Monda Road, Climax. Burial will be following the service in the church cemetery.

Patricia was the daughter of the late Claude and Opal Merritt and she was also preceded in death by her brother, Larry Merritt.

She leaves behind her husband of 53 years, Jerry E. Allred; son, Andrew “Andy” Allred and his wife, Susan; daughter, Amy Allred Dillard and her husband, Edwin; grandchildren, Alistair Allred, Jordan Allred, Erin Dillard, Kaden Dillard and Melah Dillard; sister, Brenda Woolford; and brothers, Wayne Merritt, Tony Merritt and Jimmy Foster.

Patricia was a faithful member of Red Cross Baptist Church of Climax where she served as pianist for over 40 years. She was passionate about serving the Lord in any way she could, including singing and teaching Sunday School. Patricia was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.
