A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 26, at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Liberty with Rev. Dan Bare and Rev. Jim Wall officiating.
Pat was an active member of First Baptist Church where she served as a former Sunday School Superintendent, an Acteen Leader, a Sunday School Teacher and a member of the Baptist Women.
After 17 years of work at Texfi Industries, she went on to retire after 18 years of service from Jefferson Pilot Financial in Greensboro, NC. Pat enjoyed reading, exercising, swimming, and loved being part of the “Red Hat Ladies” and Baptist Women. She loved her family and her church family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sonny Coble; parents, Wade and Edith Bare; sisters, Helen B. Brown and Sarah B. Nichols; brother, James Bare; and stepdaughter, Annette Coble Miller.
Pat is survived by her children, Robert Wayne Deaton, Jr and wife Debbie of Arnold, MD., Ann Hampton Joyce and Bill White of Pleasant Garden, NC; grandchildren, Robert Wayne Deaton III and his wife, Jill, Addison Taylor Deaton, Collin Patrick Joyce and Hannah Taylor Joyce; Stepdaughter, Pat Coble Trulove and spouse “Skip” of Supply, NC and three step grandchildren. Also surviving are siblings, Everette Boyd Bare of Pleasant Garden, NC, Nancy Bare Holt, Virginia Bare Walters and Wallace Wade Bare of Liberty, NC, and Verl Bare Fleeman of High Point, NC. She also leaves behind many much loved nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends after the service at First Baptist Church.
