Lula Robbins Ferguson

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 26 at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Todd Moore; burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was the daughter of the late Troy Franklin and Mary Elizabeth Lowe Robbins and was also preceded in death by her husband, Lee Vern Ferguson; sons, Thomas Hayston Ferguson, Carl Troy Ferguson and David Ronald Ferguson; sisters, Mary Frances Allred and Nell Moore and brothers, Sam Robbins and Charlie Robbins.

Surviving are daughters, Edna Overman and husband, William Roger of Liberty, Patty Staley and husband, Oscar of Staley and Martha Stout of Staley; sons, Garland Ferguson of Liberty and Melvin Ferguson and wife, Connie of Siler City; sister, Sallie Ferguson of Walnut Cove; brothers, Will Robbins of Pilot Mountain and Jimmy Robbins of Walnut Cove; grandchildren, Robin Martin, Rona Wilson, Shara Staley, Gloria Perrell, Mark Stout, Katina Ferguson, Tonya Caudle, Chad Ferguson, Tara Moody, Alecia Ferguson and Amanda Ferguson; 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
