Lillian was a lifetime member of Coble's Lutheran Church. She was a very talented crafter of Chrismons, she made them for the Chrismon Tree at Coble's Lutheran Church and gave many as gifts through the years. She also enjoyed painting, sewing and antique shopping. Lillian loved her family and spending time with them.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Coble's Lutheran Church. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Coble's Lutheran Church, 5200 Coble Church Road, Julian, NC; burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She was the daughter of the late Franklin and Mae Elizabeth Amick Coble and was also preceded in death by her husband, Arlos Junior "A.J." O'Briant; son-in-law, Terry Clapp; sisters, Helen Coble Clapp, Dorothy "Dot" Coble Ferneyhough, Ruth Ann Coble; and brother, Robert Lee Coble.
Surviving is her daughter, Pamela Wynell Clapp; grandsons, Casey Clapp and Tyler Clapp and his wife, Megan; great-grandchildren, Carson, Caleb, Carmen, Riley and Boston Clapp; and sisters, Betty Jean Coble Causey, Mary Evelyn Coble Honeycutt, and Patsy Coble Johnson.
At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Coble's Lutheran Church, 5200 Coble Church Road, Julian, NC 27283.
