Laura was born and raised in Greensboro, NC where she attended Ben L. Smith High School. She was a CNA and enjoyed helping others. She attended Hunter Hills Friends Church as a youth and had made a confession of faith and was ready to meet her Savior.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Rocky River Friends Meeting, 1795 Staley Snow Camp Road, Siler City, NC.
She is survived by her mother, Gale Clark Paire; son, Jesse Robert Lucas (Heather); her new grandson, Waylon; her granddaughter, Paislee; and her longtime friend, partner and beloved caregiver, Ricky Burns. She is also survived by her four sisters, Leslie Hunt (Tommy), Kathryn Cox (Tim), Carol Shackleford (David), Kimberly Watson (David); step-brother, John Paire (Liz); and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father, David Clark; step-dad, George Paire and husband, Randy Combs.
The family wishes to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to Ricky Burns for his constant care and devotion to Laura during these past months.
Also, our sincerest gratitude to Rev. Parker Coppock for helping Laura to prepare for the transition from her earthly home to her heavenly one.
